Using PDX.fun

About the service

PDX.fun helps people discover, publish, attend, and coordinate events in and around Portland. These terms apply when you visit the site, create an account, publish an event, RSVP, or use another PDX.fun feature. By using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Notice.

Your account

Provide accurate registration information, keep your sign-in methods secure, and tell us at hello@pdx.fun if you believe your account has been used without permission. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly report unauthorized access.

Events and community content

You are responsible for events, comments, photos, messages, and other content you submit. Only post content you have permission to use. Do not use PDX.fun to mislead, harass, exploit, threaten, break the law, infringe another person's rights, spread malicious code, or interfere with the service.

You keep ownership of your content. You give PDX.fun a non-exclusive permission to host, copy, format, and display it only as needed to operate the service and provide the features you request. Event organizers remain responsible for the accuracy, legality, accessibility, safety, and operation of their events. An event listing or RSVP is not a guarantee that an event will happen or that attendance will be available.

Calendar and communications

PDX.fun may send account, event, RSVP, reminder, and security messages needed to provide the service. An administrator may optionally connect Google Calendar so PDX.fun can create, update, and delete synchronized copies of PDX.fun events on calendars that administrator owns. The connection can be removed from the integration settings. Your use of Google services is also subject to Google's applicable terms and policies.

Payments

Paid events and payment processing are currently disabled. We will update these terms and provide any required purchase information before enabling payments through PDX.fun.

Moderation and availability

We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend an account when we reasonably believe it is necessary to enforce these terms, protect people or the service, investigate abuse, or comply with law. You may contact us if you believe we made a mistake.

The service may change, experience interruptions, or contain errors. We do not promise that every feature or event listing will always be available. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as PDX.fun changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@pdx.fun.
